Will McCrea has joined the Legacy Wildlife Division of NRPS. Will recently earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida and began working for LWS out of the Lake City office in January. Although he is just beginning his full-time position with LWS, Will worked in an intern position during the previous summer where he got the chance to start learning the challenges and rewards of being a consulting wildlife biologist.
In his new full-time position, Will’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the oversight and marketing for over 400,000 acres of LWS-managed hunting leases in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. He will also be working with Certified Wildlife Biologist and LWS Division Manager, Jeff Bewsher, on various wildlife consulting projects for a diverse clientele.
“During his internship, Will demonstrated not only a high degree of knowledge, technical ability and work ethic but, more importantly, he showed the professionalism and exemplary character that we expect from all of employees. I am very pleased that Will has decided to begin his professional career here with us.” Jeff Bewsher, Legacy Wildlife Services Division Manager.
